This course covers the basics of tenancy law. It includes possession notices, grounds for possession, joint tenancies, tenancy surrender, succession, and assignment.

You’ll learn how to identify whether a tenancy has ended following a surrender or valid notice, and when a tenancy is transferred by assignment or succession.

What this course covers

Face to face and webinar training includes:

What you'll learn

At the end of this training, you'll be able to:

  • explain when the court can make a possession order

  • check whether a tenancy has been ended by surrender or valid notice

  • advise when a tenancy has been transferred by assignment or succession

If you attend this training face to face, you'll also be able to advise on notice requirements.
