Officers
Our officers lead the APPG's work in Parliament, making sure that delivering social housing remains a political priority.
This group champions the delivery of council and social housing as a vital solution to the housing emergency. We bring together parliamentarians, experts and communities to shape policy and drive change.
Making sure everyone who needs a secure, genuinely affordable, social rent home has access to one is at the heart of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG)'s work.

The APPG will be launching an inquiry into the barriers to building council housing, with a specific focus on the delivery of council-owned homes for social rent. This inquiry seeks to understand the challenges local authorities face and the wider impact on communities when these homes are not delivered at scale.
We will be welcoming evidence submissions from March 2026.
