Around 60,000 people in England are classed as having multiple and complex needs, dealing with one or more of the following:
homelessness
emotional or mental health issues
offending
substance or alcohol use
domestic violence
The National Lottery Community Fund’s initiative was set up to help improve services for people in this group. It also aims to reduce the social and economic costs that come from failing to support them properly.

Our objectives:
Co-production: giving the people with multiple and complex needs in Manchester the opportunity to get involved with the services they need and influence decisions that affect them.
Adaptive services: influencing and developing services to be adaptable and flexible to the needs of people with multiple and complex needs in Manchester.
Sharing information: improving information-sharing across services to better co-ordinate interventions for people with multiple and complex needs.
Access and inclusion: promoting inclusion for people with multiple and complex needs.
Policy and commissioning: influencing policy and commissioning in Manchester to better meet the needs of people experiencing multiple and complex needs.
