Course summary
This course covers what boundaries are and the risks and benefits of having strong or weak boundaries. You'll find out the warning signs of someone attempting to cross boundaries and how to implement methods of good practice.
You’ll learn about situations that increase the risk of compromised boundaries plus how to begin and end working relationships within your boundaries.

What this course covers
Face to face and webinar training covers implementing boundaries in general, including foundation strategies to stay in ‘the zone’.
You'll learn about implementing boundaries in key areas, including:
transactions, including gifts and compliments
physical contact
in writing and online
good practice with clients, service users, tenants and customers
Face to face training also covers active practice around testing boundaries.
What you'll learn
At the end of this training, you'll be able to:
understand what boundaries are and why we need them
use strategies for working in 'the zone'
identify at least five warning signs and situations that increase the risk of compromised boundaries
implement ways of beginning and ending relationships within clear boundaries
use good practice to manage boundaries within five key areas
