You can walk, jog or run the route. From a 100km ultra marathon to a 10k hike near Cirencester, there's a challenge to suit everyone.

The full 100km circular route takes you into the heart of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Push your endurance to the limit and be rewarded with some of the most stunning views the English countryside has to offer.

Enjoy passing through picturesque villages including Painswick, Wotton-under-Edge and Hawkesbury Upton. Then return to our base on the outskirts of Cirencester for a triumphant finish.

We believe that home is a human right. Will you join us?

A big crowd of walkers set out from the start line of the Cotswold Way challenge, with colourful banners on either side. They are waving cheerfully at spectators.

How your fundraising helps

When you fundraise for Shelter, you're standing with people who face homelessness or unsafe housing.

Our experts provide advice and support through our emergency helpline, webchat service and face-to-face in local hubs.

Every mile and every pound you raise will help defend the right to a safe home.

  • £20 could fund a webchat, providing essential housing advice

  • £58 could answer two calls to our emergency helpline

  • £157 could pay for legal advice to help a family in crisis keep their home
