House clearance service

We offer a sympathetic, professional house clearance service that is here to help you.

We offer both a full house clearance service (chargeable) and a partial house clearance, which is free.

All proceeds from the sale of your kindly donated furniture will go towards fighting the housing emergency.

What we collect

We collect good quality second-hand items, including:

furniture and electrical items in good condition (upholstered furniture must have a fire safety label by law)
clothes
books

What we can't collect

As our house clearance service costs us money, any items collected must be in good condition so we can raise vital funds for our work.

We'll discuss your collection with you in advance. However, our van drivers reserve the right to refuse items that are not saleable.

This includes:

items that are broken, damaged or in poor condition
items missing parts
items with rips, holes, stains or odours
upholstered furniture (cushioning, padding or fabric covering) without a fire safety label
white goods

How it works

Before guaranteeing a collection, we'll check what the item is and if we can sell it. Items must be in good condition and meet legal health and safety requirements.

There are two ways you can arrange a collection:

Call your local furniture shop on the numbers listed below. We'll ask for your address and whether you'd like a full or partial clearance service.
Fill in a collection request form online, by clicking your local shop name from the list below. We'll get back to you within two working days to discuss your collection.
