Head to our Sunderland charity shop to donate unwanted items, volunteer your time or see what's on offer.
We sell (and collect) a wide range of second-hand furniture, including some electrical and white goods – as well as clothes, books and more.
If you'd like to donate some furniture, give us a call on 0191 567 1745. We'll even come and collect it from your home for free. Please be aware that there are some items we can't accept, such as damaged goods, dishwashers and washing machines.
How your donation makes a difference
By donating unwanted, good quality furniture to our Sunderland shop, you're helping to fund our vital work and standing with families facing homelessness.
All donations can be gift aided, at no extra cost to you, helping us raise even more.

What we accept
furniture (everything from beds, sofas, mattresses, chests of drawers, tables etc.)
homeware accessories such as blankets, cushions and picture frames
electrical items such as lights, lamps and kettles
books
What we can't accept
items in poor condition (with holes or any damage)
damaged or broken furniture
white goods
upholstered items without a fire label (this is required by law)
Our house clearance service
We offer a sympathetic, professional house clearance service that's here to help you.
We offer both a full house clearance service (chargeable) and a part house clearance for free. To arrange a clearance service, give us a call on 0191 567 1745. We'll ask for your address and whether you'd like a full or partial clearance service.
We can then arrange a day and time for our helpful team to visit and pick up all good quality items for free.
