Karen Kneller

Karen is a Barrister with extensive experience working across government, policy and legislation. She has substantial board experience and is an accomplished leader. Karen is the CEO of the Criminal Cases Review Commission, a national organisation finding and investigating miscarriages of justice. As a non-executive director of one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts, Karen brings a wealth of experience as an audit and risk chair. A Fellow of the RSA (the royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce), Karen also has a strong background in the third sector. In 2018, Karen was awarded an honorary doctorate for her contribution to justice and equality. (Date appointed: 1 July 2022)
