October Home newsletter
Find out how your support is making an incredible difference in the latest issue of our Home newsletter.
Welcome to the latest edition of the Home newsletter
Thanks to you, we can reach more people – and there’s plenty of evidence of that in your latest edition of Home. Your support means we can do more, in more ways, to fight the housing emergency. And it means we can be there for as long as people need our help.
We see this where Julie* shares her story. Her situation was complex. A sudden eviction, complications with her council and an offer of a home that wasn’t right for her daughter. It’s the kind of complicated situation our helpline experts support people through every day. And it shows exactly why your support is so powerful.
We also see this in our research report, ‘My Colour Speaks Before Me’. While homelessness can affect anyone, the research explores how racism and discrimination make it harder for Black and Black Mixed heritage people to access social homes in England today.
But thanks to your support, we continue to fight housing injustice. The recent announcement of £39bn of funding for social housing in England is just the latest example.
Fighting for home means fighting racism, and with you by our side, that’s exactly what we’ll do.
Thank you so much for being with us and for everything you make possible.

Assistant Director of Individual Giving
