Helen Baker

Helen took up the role of chair in May 2018 bringing wide experience of senior leadership and governance from a career spanning housing, social care, health and education. She brings particular skills in the fields of mental health and disability, public policy, and the regulation of public services. In addition to her role with Shelter, she is currently Vice-Chair of the What Works Centre for Wellbeing, a trustee with The Association of Chairs and is a Deputy Lieutenant for Oxfordshire.
