Housing law and homelessness training courses delivered in person at Shelter’s head office.
Shelter is starting to deliver face to face training courses in London from June.
Face to face training allows more time for interactive groupwork, activities, and questions. Delegates receive a detailed course handbook to revisit when back at their desks.
Attending a scheduled course at Shelter’s head office provides the added opportunity to network with peers who are likely to be tackling similar challenges. This creates opportunities to grow and learn in a collaborative environment, especially for delegates who may be isolated in their role due to working from home or having little contact with colleagues.
Our expert trainer will be available in the room to talk to course delegates, share experiences, and answer questions. Delegates have more time in a classroom setting to discuss complex areas of law, or policies, and how they impact their role.
We allow plenty of time for breaks throughout the day. Breaks are an opportunity for delegates to network, discuss what they are learning and share how they will apply the teachings to their role.
Our scheduled training courses are charged at either standard or discounted rate. Most organisations pay the standard rate. Advice agencies, law centres and charities pay the discounted rate. The discounted rate will appear once you reach the 'delegates' stage of the checkout process. Pay online or request an invoice.
