Glastonbury Festival

For the last 10 years, we've worked with the company Avalon Bars & Events, who run several bars at Glastonbury Festival. We’ve seen thousands of volunteers head to Worthy Farm to help out at the bars, engage festival-goers with Shelter's work and raise over £340,000 at the same time.

Moving forward, we're sorry to say that Shelter will no longer be recruiting volunteers for the 2024 festival or beyond.

Avalon Bars & Events will be recruiting volunteers themselves and if you’re interested in taking part again, you can do so by registering your interest at or by emailing

Please note that this recruitment process and festival experience will be completely separate from Shelter and run independently by Avalon Bars & Events.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been involved in representing Shelter over the last 10 years. We've enjoyed getting to meet you all and have been inspired by your passion for the cause. Your efforts have helped defend the right to a safe and secure home.

If you have any questions for the team here at Shelter, please do let us know by emailing and we’ll do our best to help.

Thank you for your continued support.
