Join us for four special events

A series of one-off events to mark our 50th anniversary. Gimme Shelter explores four main themes: art, music, literature and film. Featuring artists such as PJ Harvey and Ben Wheatley, the events will be held at various locations across London. Tickets will cost £10 per event, and the money goes to Shelter.

PJ Harvey - Closed

St Pancras Church

Working with Book Slam, presenting an evening of live readings with PJ Harvey, Tracey Thorn, Joe Dunthorne, Laura J Martin and Mark Watson - hosted by Salena Godden. This ballot is now closed.

Richie Culver

Protein Gallery

Richie Culver launches his first London exhibition in three years, ‘Things That Never Really Worked Out – Most Things’. It runs until 2 August at Protein, 31 New Inn Yard, EC2A. This ballot is now closed.

Ben Wheatley

Rooftop Cinema Club

Rooftop screening of ‘High Rise’, starring Tom Hiddleston – including an intro and Q&A from director Ben Wheatley. We’ll also screen the premiere of short film ‘The Nest’, starring Vicky McClure. The ballot closes on 29 July, at 12pm.


Moth Club

Join us for this special acoustic show from Shura, who’ll be joined by Mercury Prize winner Speech Debelle and more. This ballot is now closed.
