July Upcycling challenge – upcycle everything you can in July

Join Team Shelter for a fabulous new challenge! Push yourself to learn or harness a new skill in upcycling and raise money to help us be there for anyone facing housing injustice.

We are asking you to challenge yourself to upcycle anything for 31 days in July.

What is Upcycling?

Upcycling is a process that turns unused goods into something new. You could upcycle anything from an item of furniture, clothing, or even jewellery! You can raise funds by asking for sponsorship for taking on the challenge, or you could even sell your masterpiece and donate.

We aim to be more environmentally conscious and are trying to bring more sustainable ways of giving support.

The challenge is open to anyone and is free to sign up. If you are under 18, you’ll need to sign up with an adult.
