The Edinburgh Marathon Festival event has been postponed and is now scheduled to take place on Sunday 6 September.
With the ongoing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus and the impact it’s expected to have on the UK in the weeks to come, we understand the requirement by the Scottish Government to ban mass gatherings in the interests of supporting our frontline services and public health.
Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding during this extraordinary and challenging situation.
The Edinburgh Marathon Festival's famously flat course is perfect for first-time runners, and more experienced athletes hoping to post a personal best.
Lined with spectacular sights and a supportive crowd, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival delivers an amazing experience; the perfect setting to run for Shelter in either the Festival's half or full marathon.
