Run for Team Shelter at the stunning Barcelona Half Marathon, the second biggest half marathon in Europe.
You'll enjoy varied scenery, from the old town to the beachfront. Take in the city's beautiful monuments and landmarks, including the Arc de Triomf, Plaça Catalunya and Sagrada Familia. The route is relatively flat with only a few gentle inclines, making it perfect for beginners. There will also be plenty of crowd support and an incredible atmosphere!
When you fundraise for Shelter, you're joining the fight for housing justice.
You must be at least 18 years old to run the Barcelona Half Marathon.
Already have your own place?
If you've already secured a spot, you can use your place to fight the housing emergency by running and fundraising for Shelter. We'd love for you to join the team – please get in touch.

Last year, we supported 15,975 households through our emergency helpline and 12,203 households through our local hubs.
We also campaign for long-term change by:
demanding better rights for renters
lobbying the government to invest in a new generation of social homes
calling out systemic racism in the housing sector
Join us and stand with people facing homelessness or unsafe housing.
Fundraising for Shelter
We recommend you start by setting up a fundraising page on JustGiving and asking friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. You can also organise an event such as a bake sale or quiz. See our fundraising resources for more inspiration.
Please make sure you’re confident in reaching the fundraising pledge before you sign up. We invest in places at charity events and need to raise as much as possible for our fight against housing injustice.
Our friendly Events team are on hand to support you with your fundraising. If you have a question or want to talk through ideas, email running@shelter.org.uk or call us on 0344 515 1190.
